Dates:

• 10am Friday 11^th October  - Early Evening Sunday 13^th October 2024
• Venue has availability on the Thursday and Sunday evenings and you will need to book independently for this.

Venue:

The Bridge House Hotel – near the shop still and on the river – it’s really great!

• Sewing Space has a view over the River
• Separate Dining Room
• All retreat guests will have their OWN room!! This is huge. Our sewing space is smaller but everyone can have their own room.

Meals:

• Friday: Light Buffet Lunch and 2 Course Evening Meal
• Saturday: Breakfast, Light Buffet Lunch and 2 Course Evening Meal
• Sunday: Breakfast and Carvery Lunch
• Drinks are not included.

Info:

• Use of the suite for full 3 days entire stay from check in to check out for sewing. 10am - Midnight Friday, 10am - Midnight Saturday, 10am - 6pm Sunday.
  
• Participation in the small swap is obligatory (large swap will be optional) – this is a huge part of the event and I feel very strongly that ALL retreaters take part.

Dietary requirements:

It is vital that you provide your full dietary requirements when you book, and if anything changes, it is your responsibility to let us know at least 2 weeks in advance of the event. The event manager at the Bridgehouse is available to discuss dietary requirements.

Spaces:

• We have comfortable space for 25 of you to sew on machines. However, if any of you would prefer to bring hand sewing instead, we will be able to add a few more as we’re not limited on bedrooms.
• If you're not sure, select machine sewing. We can change you from machine sewing to hand-sewing at a later date, but if you select hand-sewing you will not be able to change to machine sewing.
• No XL sewing machines will be permitted as space is at a premium and we want to include as many of you as possible.

This is not just any retreat, this is the Lovely Jubbly LOVES retreat, and the biggest part of it is the community and spending time with each other.

Yes, we sew (well, some of us do) but it’s also the only time we all gather in one place in the year. There aren’t classes or many of the traditional elements of a retreat, but that’s what makes ours so special. Lindsey and I will not be bringing our machines to this retreat and will be setting up a hand-sewing area instead.

Additional nights:

There are rooms available on site for you to book if you wish to stay on Thursday  and/or Sunday. We have not reserved rooms and they will be up to you to book independently.

Deposit is non-refundable. By booking to join the retreat you are committing to pay the full cost of the event.

Cancellations made before May 31st 2024 will be refunded full amount paid to date of cancellation minus deposit value of £85.

Cancellations made on or after June 1st 2024 and before July 31st 2024 will be refunded 50% amount paid to date of cancellation minus deposit value of £85.

Cancellations made on or after August 1st 2024 and before August 31st 2024 will be refunded 30% amount paid to date of cancellation minus deposit value of £85.

Cancellations made after August 31st 2024 will not be eligible for a refund under any circumstances.
